Playing numbers - we determined it was difficult to gauge the playing numbers this early in the season but we are very happy with the start that the first team have made to the season with 2 victories!

Ground improvements - the working party to complete regular maintenance has made a great start. This coming Saturday we will be trimming the hedges and weeding around the nets. All help welcomed. We have also discussed improving the condition of the outfield so watch this space.

First aid - we are hoping to run a first aid course in the coming months so keep your eyes peeled for when this gets finalised if you'd like a place on the course.

Socials - we will be launching our Pizza party for the first Saturday of each month starting this weekend. Please come down and help yourself to free pizza and enjoy a pint, soft drink or two and a catch up with each other. We are also exploring the possibility of more social facilities at the club.

We are currently in a good position and thank all those that have made it happen. Going forward we will be celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to the club over the last month.

So our inaugural Club Person of the Month is Graham Popplewell for all his hard work preparing the ground for the season, doing all the weeding and generally tidying everything up.
