The club is delighted to announce solar batteries have recently been installed, which are in addition to the solar panels installed last year, and are a huge step forward in the club's attempt to be more sustainable.

Thanks to both Blaby District Council and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for providing grants to allow us to fulfil this project, without their assistance this would not be possible. This is in addition to our push to recycle as much as possible and attempt to be paperless where possible.

The committee is always looking at ways to reduce operating costs and the use of the batteries will allow the club to reduce our electricity costs and we will look to pass this onto our members.
