The Management Committee is pleased to confirm that we now have three ways in which our members can avoid having to pay their annual membership fee (which begins to be payable in April).
As a Club, we are investigating ways in which we can increase our revenue without asking our members to pay more; we are trying, we promise!!
So, the free annual membership fees all relates to sponsorship introductions. The Committee have agreed to implement the following membership fee waivers:
- If you introduce a new sponsor to the Club, and that sponsor spends £200 or more this year, then the Club will waive your membership fee for this season. For parent members, this relates to one child playing member only;
- If you introduce a new sponsor to the Club, and that sponsor spends £1,000 or more this year, then the Club will not only waive your membership fee for this season but the Club will not charge you any match fees for the entire playing season. For parent members, this relates to one child playing member only; and
- If you introduce a new sponsor to the Club that takes out one of our two player sponsorship opportunities (details below) this season, then, provided that ten player sponsorships are sold this season, you will be entered into a draw whereby one person will either receive a waiver or a refund on their annual membership fee for this season. The draws will continue for every 10 player
sponsorships that are sold this season.
PLAYER SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The two player sponsorship opportunities are as follows:
1) For £30 any playing member can be sponsored for this season. For this, the sponsor will be indicated as the player's sponsor on the playing member's profile (which will include the sponsor's logo and a hyperlink to their website) and they will be acknowledged as a player sponsor, with a hyperlink to their website, on a page on the Club website purely for all player sponsors; or
2) For £50, the sponsor will get the same as above but, in addition to this, they will also get their logo and website link on the Club's homepage (which is a much more prominent position)!
The Small Print.....
- You will only be entered into a draw once as each player can only sell one player sponsorship;
- Members will be entered into the draws in the order upon which the sponsorship fees are received by the Club;
- You can, if you wish, sponsor yourself (if you do this then any logo placed on your profile page must be approved by the Club and must not contain any explicit content. You could use another entity's logo, for example, a charity's, but you are responsible for obtaining consent from that entity to use their logo);
- If we do not sell enough player sponsorships (10 or multiples of 10), then unfortunately a draw/another draw will not be made.
- The Club understands that times are tight so we have updated our Sponsorship brochure and reduced all of the prices. The 2023 Sponsorship brochure is attached to this article.
All you have to do, is send if off to your employer or any friend or family member that runs a business (or even if they dont) and see if they will sponsor the Club.
